Shenzhen-Shanshan Customs Interregional Cooperation

On the 23rd, Shenzhen Customs, Shantou Customs and the Shenzhen-Shanshan Special Cooperation Zone Management Committee signed a cooperation memorandum to jointly establish an efficient and fast entry-exit customs clearance platform for enterprises in the Shenzhen-Shandong Special Cooperation Zone. Wang Keguang, Commissioner of Shenzhen Customs, Meng Yang, Commissioner of Shantou Customs, Wu Zihuan, Mayor of Shanwei City, Standing Committee Member, Deputy Mayor of Shanwei Municipal Party Committee, Chief of the Shenzhen-Shanshan Special Cooperation Zone Management Committee Shen Murong, secretary of Fengxian County Party Committee and other leaders attended the signing ceremony.
The Shenzhou-Shanshan Special Cooperation Zone is the jurisdiction of Shantou Customs. More than 90% of the enterprises in the zone are from Shenzhen. In order to provide a more convenient exit-entry customs environment for the settled enterprises, the customs leaders in Shenzhen and Shantou led the relevant departments and relevant persons to the cooperation zone for investigations many times, and the management committee of the cooperation zone also actively docked.
After careful research, Shenzhen Customs, Shantou Customs and the Cooperation Zone Management Committee reached five areas of cooperation intentions: First, for the law-abiding and standardized high-tech enterprises identified and filed by Shantou Customs, Shenzhen Customs will be incorporated into the management of the customer coordinator system. Shenzhen Customs customer coordinator enterprises, Shantou Customs will also implement the same customs clearance measures. Second, Shenzhen and Shantou Customs will cooperate with the cooperation zone to do a good job in the transformation and upgrading of enterprises and industrial transfer, simplifying procedures and promoting domestic sales facilitation. The third is to support the cooperation zone in the construction of special customs supervision areas and bonded supervision sites, support the introduction of major projects in the cooperation zone, and arrange special persons to be responsible for major tax reduction and exemption matters. Fourth, the various reforms and measures of the Customs and Excise Department will be tried out first in the cooperation zone to innovate and transplant advanced customs management models. Fifth, Shantou Customs will set up a customs office in the cooperation zone to be responsible for customs supervision. The two customs offices will provide convenient information services for the management committee and the enterprises in the zone.
