China accounted for 7 of the world's top 10 container ports this year
The 2017 Global Top20 Container Port Forecast Report released by the World Port Forecasting Research Group of the Center for Forecasting Science Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences shows that in 2017, China accounted for half of the top 20 container ports in the world, and 7 of the top 10 container ports came from China The growth rate of China's port container throughput has increased.
According to the report, in 2017, among the top 20 container ports in the world, the container throughput of China's ports achieved growth, and the development of China's container transportation is still the focus and foundation of stable global development. Specifically, the Bohai Rim region achieved a small growth; the demand for container transportation in the Yangtze River Delta region accelerated, and the container throughput of Ningbo-Zhoushan port increased relatively significantly; the container throughput of the Pearl River Delta port showed a differentiated growth. Fast, the growth rate of Shenzhen Port is relatively slow.
Analyzed by region, the container throughput growth rate of major ports in Asia will be higher than the global average, while the container throughput of most European and American ports will show a low-speed growth trend.
From the ranking point of view, it is expected that the top 20 container ports in the world in 2017 will be basically the same as in 2016, and the ranking of some ports will change.
