Informal Red Sea Agreement Organization raises comprehensive rate from June 15, 2016
Members of the Informal Red Sea Agreement (IRSA) have unanimously agreed to recommend that from June 15, 2016, July 1, July 15, August 1, and August 15, respectively, All products in all destinations within the IRSA range are subject to a combined rate increase of $ 100 per 20-foot box, which is in response to rising overall operating costs. Among them, the carrier's maintenance costs, loading and unloading costs, labor costs, container deployment costs and administrative costs are all rising. This rate level and effective date also apply to all origins and destinations within the scope of IRSA.
The above-mentioned increase in the comprehensive rate is voluntary and has no binding force. Any member of IRSA has the right to take free action.
