Recently, the Taizhou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out a special activity of quality safety tracking "big return visit" for the imported goods of Sanmen Nuclear Power Project from January to July this year, and conducted a quality and safety traceability investigation on 155 batches of equipment with a total of about 50 million US dollars.
Sanmen Nuclear Power Project is the largest energy cooperation project between China and the United States. It uses the world's most advanced third-generation ap1000 PWR nuclear power technology. The project is divided into three phases, with a total installed capacity of 7.5 million kilowatts, which is equivalent to 70% of the power generation of the Three Gorges Project. The total investment is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan.
The staff of the Nuclear Power Office of the bureau introduced: "We have conducted a centralized review of imported materials, equipment, materials, etc., and hope that through this inspection, we will comprehensively grasp the quality and safety information of the imported goods of key projects in a timely manner to solve potential safety hazards. For enterprises This is also the time to sort out existing problems and summarize the overall information. "
According to statistics, since the launch of this activity, the inspection and quarantine department and the enterprise have found a total of more than ten problems, solved the problem of shortage of weight of imported goods and serious quality defects, and recovered economic losses of nearly 19 million US dollars for the enterprise.
