Recently, the Taizhou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out a special activity on "important return" for quality and safety tracking of imported goods from the three nuclear power projects from January to July this year, and carried out quality and safety traceability investigations on 155 batches of equipment with a total cost of about US $ 50 million.
The Sanmen nuclear power project is the largest energy cooperation project between China and the United States. It uses the world's most advanced third-generation ap1000 pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology. The project is divided into three phases, with a total installed capacity of 7.5 million kilowatts, which is equivalent to 70% of the power generation of the Three Gorges Project. The total investment is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan.
The staff of the Nuclear Power Office of the Bureau introduced: "We have conducted a centralized review of imported materials, equipment, materials, etc., and hope that through this inspection, we will have a comprehensive and timely grasp of the quality and safety information of imported goods for key projects and solve potential safety hazards. For enterprises, This is also the time to straighten out the problems and summarize the overall information. "
According to statistics, since the launch of this activity, the inspection and quarantine department has found more than ten problems together with the enterprise, solved the problem of shortage of imported goods, weight and serious quality defects, and saved nearly 19 million US dollars in economic losses for the enterprise.
