Volume of 678,800 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 26.09%; port import throughput of 5,576,200 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 5.42%, and export throughput of 6,960,600 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 2.02%; and import heavy containers of 2.346 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 2.95%. Exported heavy containers were 5.869 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 4.37%, and empty containers were 3.409 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 3.00%.
Compared with the growth rate of container throughput, the cargo throughput of Shenzhen Port increased faster than the same period last year. From January to June, the cargo throughput of Shenzhen Port was 113 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.73%. Of which, the cargo throughput of foreign trade was 90.754 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.88%, and the domestic cargo throughput was 22.666 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 50.24%.
The container throughput of the 4 major terminals has its own rise and fall
Yantian International completed a container throughput of 5.7800 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 4.43%, of which heavy containers increased by 6.19% and empty containers increased by 1.49%; China Merchants International Shekou Port Area completed a container throughput of 3.0748 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 7.06%. Among them, heavy containers increased by 8.88% and empty containers increased by 2.97%. Chiwan Container Terminal Co., Ltd. completed a container throughput of 2,487,900 TEUs, an increase of 1.82% year-on-year, of which heavy containers decreased by 3.35%, and empty containers increased by 18.73%; Da Chan Bay Modern Port is limited. The company completed a container throughput of 581,400 TEUs, a year-on-year decrease of 11.10%, of which heavy cases decreased by 4.68%, and empty cases decreased by 23.97%.
Container growth of domestic routes is better than international routes
From January to June, Shenzhen Port's international shipping lines completed a total of 9,875,700 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 1.66%. Internal branch lines completed a total of 1,296,700 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 9.65%, and domestic routes totaled 679,800 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 26.09%. From January to June, the total container and sea-rail combined transport throughput was 56498.5 TEUs.
Chemicals, machinery, grain, cement account for the bulk
From January to June, the cargo throughput of Shenzhen Port increased by 10.73%, of which coal and products reached 1,675,500 tons, an increase of 27.08%; steel and steel were 623,300 tons, an increase of 0.23%; cement, 756,100 tons, an increase of 39.82%, and grains of 8,235,300 tons, Increased 46.05%; machinery, equipment, electrical appliances 50,300 tons, an increase of 47.99%; chemical raw materials and products 57,300 tons, an increase of 157.09%; agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery products 710,300 tons, an increase of 29.72%; however, oil, natural gas And products reached 6.165 million tons, a decrease of 1.89%; mineral construction materials amounted to 529,200 tons, an increase of 38.13%.
